Agustín Nazzetta (1990) developed his artistic qualities from a tradition of Argentinian guitar players, such as Pablo Márquez, María Isabel Siewers and Javier Bravo. In 2010, he earned a scholarship from the Argentine Mozarteum Scholarship Fund to attend classes by Maestros Eduardo Isaac and Victor Villadangos. He graduated from the Musik Akademie Basel in 2019 with Pablo Marquez. Currently, he has a scholarship from the National Arts Fund to take classes from Argentine composer and director Marcelo Delgado, together with the guitar quartet Nuntempe, concentrating on a repertoire of contemporary music for his training. At the same time, he holds a scholarship from the PAEDE Program of the IUNA.
He has won numerous awards at international guitar competitions, such as first prize at the Incontri Chitarristi di Gargnano in Italy and at the Guitar Festival Rust, in Austria (2019); second prize at the International Guitar Festival BRNO, at the Federal Biennial Award Competition (2011) organized by the Federal Investment Council of the city of Buenos Aires, at the International Competition María Luisa Anido of the city of Buenos Aires (2010), at the XVIII Young Music Students Choice (2009) organized by the
Mozarteum of Santa Fe and at the First Argentine Music Competition for the Guitar (2009), organized by Argentmusica. Furthermore, He was selected at the 2011 La Falda International Classical Guitar Meet to perform a series of concerts as a soloist with the Orchestra of the National Congress, and in 2010 he was nominated Eurostrings Artist.
In addition to his career as a soloist, his interest in contemporary music led him to work with young composers, ensembles and conductors. Since 2010 he has been a member of the Contemporary Music Ensemble of DAMus, directed by Maestros Santiago Santero and Pablo Drucker. He is also a member of the LEMC Ensemble directed by the composer Matías Giuliani.
